  38. The best thing to do with this kind of radio is to use it as a cross-band
  39. repeat hand-held thru another kenwood base or mobile doing the cross-
  40. band-repeating, such as a 732, 741, 742 etc. Then you can run the
  41. milliwatt power level, run it all day, never worry about running out, and
  42. always have a plenty good signal. Write me for more comments if you please.

  81. Only problem is that the 732 has a crappy receiver. Its okay if you live in
  82. the country, but it dies in urban intermod alleys

  164. I'm interested in getting opinions as to which of the four Kenwood
  165. speaker-mics would would be best for use in a high noise environment.
  166. Basically I'm going to be carrying my HT around an airport tarmac and I
  167. want to know which speaker-mic would have the best audio output with the

  191. The HTX-202 is a superb radio for the money. Bullet proof receiver with
  192. great transmit AND receive audio. Only problem is it is larger than most
  193. portables and due to its receiver being optimized for the ham band, it will
  194. not go out of band.

  196. I use one for a dedicated packet station, and it is great to have a 2m
  197. radio that won't go spastic when you put a real antenna on it
